The Dental Assistant program provides students with hands-on dental training in the fundamental principles of Dental Assistant field. It focuses on basics of human dentistry and dental procedures, like taking radiographs and impressions, sterilization and chair side assisting.
After the training you will be able to:
Ensure that patients are comfortable in the dental chair.
Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures.
Sterilize dental instruments.
Help dentists by handing them instruments during procedures.
Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene.
Process X-rays and complete lab tasks under the direction of a dentist.
• 4-hour classes • groups of 4-12 people • interactive lectures, laboratory sessions and internships in medical clinics • theoretical classes are held in BDAS facilities • practical work takes place in the medical clinic
• 1-2 times a week • during 3 months
School accepts all applicants with a high school diploma and an interview.
You can receive a certificate and start working as a Dental Assistant just in 3 months. Combine weekend classes with your work and adjust your course hours to personal needs.
We provide each student with extensive resume assistance. There is also a job board located at the facility and a wide network of medical clinics willing to give you an opportunity for internship or work.
Flexible Short-Term Training
All students can ask the personal instructor any question both during the course and after its completion. We provide a second course at any time after leaving school for free and assistance on the certificate renewal every 2 years.
We provide you with books, printed materials, the ability to use everything available in the laboratory, uniforms for practical training, and the necessary software for free.
Upon successful completion of the course, you can be certified by American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) as Dental Support Technician and by American Red Cross as CPR providers.
